In order to serve off-pipeline industries, NEOgás designed the RCU – pressure reduction and control unit, to reduce the gas pressure with a system designed and constructed by NEOgás, consisting of 2 reduction stages and a double gas heating system featuring independent modules for higher reliability and safety, to keep the gas temperature and prevent freezing due to sudden drop in the pressure. In this system, NEOgás applies high quality and reliability reducing valves, in addition to the redundancy in all stages of the process, which means total safety to the industry, since the gas supply is not interrupted in case any preventive or corrective maintenance be required.
The system works 24x7 and all the logistics from the gas compression to the delivery to the client, including the trailers loading at the base and the two-round trip, is online monitored by the team in the NEOsat control room.
